If Trump didn't tweet that, will "Hamilton" really be a problem? I don't see it is a problem between whether Trump or the cast did it right but a problem about how people become these days.
In the first paragraph, the article points out that people now accept vulgarity and ungracious instead of courteous and solemn in a speech in public. I don’t understand why the author states it so obviously and even points out President Obama for it. In my personal perspective, the way a person speak it's one way to see how this person is. If a person if speak vulgar in a speech in public, how is he going to speak to friends and families or how is he going to treat them? I have the same agreement with the writer that maybe Trump shouldn't be the one step in this situation but we can see how much have Americans changed or even the world changed, from his action and people's responses.
In Luke chapter six, verse forty- five, " a good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out in the evil stored up of his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart if full of." In my opinion, vulgarity in speech is part of speaking evil. Based on what I read and my limited understanding, people now worship the evil instead of good? Furthermore, people choose to accept evil things instead of goods? Those who "attack" Trump and the cast see themselves as the real judges of good and evil, unfortunately, the real devils are themselves, probably.
There's another side I see from it which I still not on the same boat with the author is, I don't think it is a good solution to let the cast be what they are. The cast is the one we found out, so there definitely are more like them. If Trump didn't stand out for Mike Pence, those people like the cast will be more rampant than before and there will be more Mike Pence in the future. At that time, people will finally realize how serious this is and complain about this all the time but forget who actually fought for them in the past that got attacked by themselves so-called "speech vulgar in public".
Lastly, there are always gaps between everything, not only art and religion. Your parents see things different than you sometimes, right? The video game you like can't please every customer, right? Same as art and religion. Some art, like movies, books, pictures, and even speaking, can't please those in religions always. Religions somehow limit the imaginations and prospects of some artists in someway, no one can prevent it to happen. Let's make this problem small, sometimes if the problem doesn't affect your life that much, why not give a little mercy? If you really don't like the movie or don’t agree with a religion, then step away from it.
In a conclusion for above, people are getting more sensitive about what's happening and offensive to those who seem attacking them. I can't say that's wrong or bad, I can only say, put a little faith in your next president and be thankful that Hilary didn't win.
